- my illegitimate fear of paranormal shows. I love watching them, but I psych myself out, and get waaaaay too scared. This mastery came unwillingly... Unfortunately, Devin has discovered Ghost Adventures. And has also discovered that Ghost Adventures is on Netflix, and he (we) can watch it whenever his heart desires. I love the show... but it scares me. Sometimes, when we watch an extra scary episode (it's always at night, too), I tell him we can only watch it if he walks me out to my car... which he does. And it makes it okay. I don't get as scared anymore though, which is the whole point.
- my anxiousness. I can finally rest in peace now, because PLL is back. Yes, it's ridiculous, so far from reality, and way too misleading as an ABC Family series... but I love it. I can't help myself. I'm not alone though. I know of several other followers, which makes me feel better about my guilty pleasure... Devin hates it. But he's just going to have to deal with it! I promise to never make him watch it with me, which I think is fair.
- the grilled cheese sandwich. It has become it's own food group. And it's one of the only things I ever eat. It all started the first night Devin and I actually met for real. We did homework, and then went to Sammy's Cafe to meet up with his friends (who I now love) and we got some grilled cheese sandwiches. Sammy's does it right, and I will never be able to compare to their sandwiches, but mine are up there! Devin's are pretty good too, but I just made some for lunch.. divine. I have also mastered the fry sauce, which is essential to the sandwich. mmm...
- laundry. I found a routine! That works! I can do laundry throughout the whole day without actually focusing on the laundry itself, and letting it consume me. And it has simultaneously made me more productive!
- the art of wedding planning. Kelli got engaged on December 24th... and in one late night conversation, and one phone call.... we basically planned the whole thing. It's going to be unique, classy, fun, beautiful, and inexpensive. That is an art. I cannot WAIT to actually start putting it together. It is going to be one of the coolest weddings ever. I am so happy for her and Sean! Can't wait to finally have a real big brother! He already teases me... it's awesome.
- how to be civil to people i don't like to be around. it only happens sometimes... with certain people I have to be with on a regular basis... but i'm not saying where, or naming names... but I have finally learned how to get over it.
- painting my nails. both hands. flawlessly. i've been doing it for years, and finally feel like i make both hands look good. aaahhhh what a feeling. I have at least 50 different bottles of nail polish. it's almost embarrassing.
Valeri's Bachelorette Party is tomorrow... overnight in Salt Lake City... oooh boy. This will be quite the trip. I am excited though, but moreso excited for one of my best friends of all time to have the opportunity to get sealed to the man of her dreams for time and all eternity :) in the most beautiful way possible! Love you, ValPal.
