story time

okay, okay, I will tell you how he proposed!!!

So, I knew that Devin had been ring shopping a little, and we had looked online together, but not much.

On Sunday (the 20th), we had dinner with my family, and after we sat down with my parents. We talked to them about timing, and what would be best, and of course, Devin had to get my Dad's permission! Which he did, naturally.

So we had already been planning everything. Monday, we picked out colors and got Devin's suit. Tuesday, we booked the temple and made our announcements... we already have our cake and desserts, we have a venue... so we'd been planning for awhile.

APPARENTLY... Devin picked out the ring on Monday as well, and at that point was just waiting for it to be sized and mounted.

Clearly -- I was an anxious WRECK all week long. I was pretty impatient (sorry, babe! :) haha) and I would harass Dev a little every day about planning a wedding without a ring -- haha even though I knew it wasn't his fault! I knew he was waiting for it to be sized and mounted, but I had no idea when it would be ready -- it sounded like a long process.

So during the week, we were trying to plan a night with my family to go Night Skiing, and my Dad wanted to go on Friday. Devin said Friday would work, but he had some errands to run before so we might have to go up a little late. When I asked him about his errands, all he said was "Don't worry about it..." hmm...

So it's Friday afternoon, and I'm with Kylee getting wedding decoration stuff, texting Devin. He says he wants to try and take some pictures with the Polaroid camera he just bought before it gets too dark, and then we'd get some dinner or something. A typical night. I said sure. Kylee, though, is convinced he's going to propose. Like she has been for the past week or so... I wanted so badly to agree with her, but I knew if I got my hopes up and it didn't happen, I'd be devastated. So I ignored it, and expected a typical night.

THEN about 5 minutes later, I get called into work. I'm thinking it's just any other night, right? So my thoughts? "bummer, dude." So I text Devin and tell him I have to go into work and he said things like "what? no!" and "ugh. why??" and "you can't!" -- I got slightly suspicious, but brushed it off. It wasn't too out of the ordinary anyway. Plus, I'm not getting my hopes up, right?

APPARENTLY... D was TICKED. So what does he do? HE CALLS MY WORK! He talks to my manager, Sierra on the phone and told her he was proposing, and I wouldn't be coming in tonight. Then she says... (This kills me!) "How long is it going to take?" hahaha Of course, Devin educated her on a proposal being an all evening event, and she agreed to let me have the night off.

So I'm driving home all rushed to go to work, and Sierra calls me and says "Rhiannon will come in instead, don't worry about it." And since I wasn't really in the mood to work, I just thought sweet! So I text Devin back and he says "Oh nice. So when can I pick you up?" I got home and showered and got ready and he comes over around 6:00.

We're driving, and heading toward the Riverwoods, and I'm thinking maybe we're going to dinner first (He's always so hungry!) but then I realize we're heading up the canyon. I asked him where we were going? South Fork, to take some pictures. We used to drive up there all the time when we first started dating -- even had our first kiss up there! So my hopes are upping a little bit, but I ignore them completely.

We get there, and there's what looks like a boy scout group? A big one. So we get out of the car, and DEVIN ACTUALLY STARTED TAKING PICTURES (APPARENTLY... this was just a diversion). I felt like a flaming idiot. He really did just want to take pictures! I was so embarrassed for myself!

He says it's too dark, and we go to leave, but instead of turning left and heading back down the canyon, he turns right, and asks if I've ever been up here before...

We end up at the gate of Trefoil Ranch, and Devin gets out, to take another picture (as far as I was concerned). So I start putting on my coat, and he goes back to the trunk and says

"I've got something for you..."

I went back to where he was, and he pulled out a shoe box... it was CHACOS!!!! (On Sunday, he had asked me my shoe size, and to pick red or blue... APPARENTLY, it was for the chacos.)

I've wanted some of these sandals forever! So I pulled one out of the box and was looking at them and getting very excited and saying things like "no way!" and "you're so cute!" and "I love them!!!" and he says,

"There's something else..."

He pulls something small out of the shoe box (it was dark!), opens it, CHUCKS the ring box into the trunk, gets down on one knee, takes my left hand, and looked at me and smiled and said,

"Will you marry me?"

.... "YES!!!!"

We stood there and hugged and kissed for probably at least 10 minutes. I couldn't really see the ring, because it was getting so dark, but when we finally decided to get back in the car, I couldn't stop:

A) SMILING
B) Telling Devin how much I love him
C) Telling Devin how much I love my ring
D) Staring at my gorgeous BLING!

As we were driving back toward the city, I asked "Now what!?!?" and he said "People wanna see!!" We wanted dinner though, so we went to Olive Garden and waited. He even asked if the wait was shorter for people who just got engaged, haha -- it's not! We waited about 20 minutes, sent out mass texts, and he put a picture of my ring on facebook -- our phones were going off LIKE CRAZY. We ran into Shane Peavler with his little girl Chloe, and they congratulated us, and we got too impatient, so we walked over to Zupas instead, where we ran into Cameron Coles, Dane's brother! So we had some dinner with Cameron and his girlfriend, then headed to Amanda and Jason's to show them.

They were both so excited -- of course! Then we went to Devin's parents, where Tammie and Jerry Peavler were also waiting -- and when we walked in I got swarmed with hugs!

Then we went to see Chloe and Mosey (Sean wasn't home) -- and thankfully, Chloe took some pictures for us!

Ended the night at my house -- where everyone was thrilled, and we took some more pictures! Oh, it was the best day!

The excitement has only KIND OF calmed down -- and I love it! I stare at my finger all the time, show it off every chance I get, and find any excuse to call Devin my FIANCE! I love him so much!

Yesterday (Sunday), I had work in the morning, so couldn't make it to my singles ward on time, but went to the Home ward instead. My mom was dragging me around by my left hand, showing everyone, and it was so funny. Every time she would show someone, they would squeal and stare and ask sooo many questions, but then they would kind of start following us as we went to show more people, so I had this whole entourage by the end of the day! It was so, so funny.

Being engaged is fun :) I love planning our wedding together -- we are such a great team! It's getting stressful, and we're realizing all of the UN-fun stuff we have to do (change my social security card, licence... get a marriage licence, get insurance, join bank accounts, etc...) But we work so well together, that it's not a problem in the least!

I love Devin so much -- he knows me so well, and he is going to be the best husband!!! I am so lucky to have such an amazing man want to marry me! Eternity starts today! :)

days.... 7 8 9 10! oops :)

day7: A picture of your most treasured item.

okay... Kell, I don't mean to copy you. But I kind of have to agree... THIS

is definitely my most treasured item. It is absolutely beautiful and Devin picked it out himself, which means so much to me! Like my amazing sister, I love it for what it means, not just that it's pretty.

day8: A picture that makes you laugh.

i walked into my room and found Milo like THIS:
he's insane. i know. and he stayed like that. for a long time.

day9: A picture of the person who has gotten you through the most.
Definitely my Savior. I don't think I could've gotten through anything without Him.

day10: A picture of the person you do the most crazy things with.
We're crazy. She may be mad that I put this up here, but that's okay :) haha she'll forgive me eventually. Probably after I get her a diet coke or something! This was on our Sunday Drive up the Alpine Loop a couple months ago -- which wasn't too crazy.
But we HAVE:
  • gone to 3 different drive-thru windows in less than an hour. (first shakes from in-n-out, then mcdonald's fries, and wendy's for a some coke)
  • stayed up until 3a.m. or later watching movies and talking
  • spent countless hours acting really immature in Pier 1 Imports
there are probably lots more, but I can't think of them!

So... I'm really sorry that I haven't posted yet about how i'm engaged now and all, and  I have a FIANCE and that kind of stuff.... but it's because it's a busy life, this engaged one is!

My confession though, is that Devin and I have actually been planning since Monday.

We talked to my parents on Sunday about getting married, and after Devin got the OK from my Dad, we started to put our ideas into action!

We booked the temple on Monday, so the official date is Thursday, May 26th, 2011 at 10:00a.m. in the Salt Lake Temple.

We have our cake and desserts.

We have our centerpieces.

We have several decorations.

Picture frames.

Bridesmaids/Groomsmen

Devin's suit.

Linens.

Venue.

Announcements.

Photographer.

Colors.

mmm... I think that's it so far, but we've already done so much!

I keep joking that I'm going to have nothing to do for the next 3 months, but I know that won't be true! I have taken on another sewing project... skirts for myself and the bridesmaids. They will be simple though, and I think the tablecloths gave me good practice. I think they'll be easier because they won't be 9 feet long, mostly.

I also have a lot of decorations to make, which will be REALLY cute. And I still need to find a DRESS.

We're taking our engagement pictures next month, and I'm really excited about that!

hhmmmm I think that's all I have for ya.

I LOVE planning our wedding though. It's been so much fun, and Devin and I have been doing it all together. We both have an opinion about everything, and I never leave him out, nor is he the kind of groom that wants to be left out -- so it's working out pretty great for us!

We went to a co-ed baby shower yesterday, and I finally got to meet the AMAZING Banner and Harry, who I absolutely love! Some of the most amazing, sincere people. They were so much fun.

Devin and I even won some prizes! Movie tickets, a giftcard to Bocca di Beppo or something like that... and some candy! It was a really entertaining baby shower, haha that's all I will say ;)

After that, we went to IKEA to look for a kitchen table, bedroom set and couches... and found a couple things we liked. No luck on the couch yet though, we've both been pretty picky about it haha

but we left with a really nice DESK and OFFICE CHAIR. Devin keeps saying it's ours, which is true. But we both know he will probably be the only one that uses it! hahaha and we got a coffee table! for $20! we couldn't pass that up!

We went to the self serve area and found everything, and the desk was in a really big, long box. The chair and coffee table weren't so bad, but we only had MAX to fit everything in, so we were worried. It was cold outside, and I just kind of stood around while Devin tried every possible way to fit all 3 things in the car. The seats were down, our seats were pushed all the way forward, and the sub was out... but to no avail.

Finally, I don't know what he did -- but he got them all to fit! Probably the most amazing thing I've ever witnessed haha. He slammed the trunk and looked at me and said "damn right!"

I couldn't help but laugh hysterically, and neither could he! Oh, that Devin Ashby!

We took all our new purchases to his parents and set up the desk and chair, but we won't set up the coffee table until we move into our apartment...

which we went and looked at right after!

We are renting my Grandparents' basement apartment that my cousin Lyndsey, and her husband Nate and their 2 kids just moved out of.

It's a really, really nice place, and very affordable! We couldn't pass it up! It got both of us really excited to start moving in and decorating and being married!!! haha

that's all that i've been up to really -- that and work, haha.

I will have to post the engagement story, but it'll have to wait a little while. I'm so busy!

memorable quotes of the week

kelli: "what's in there?"
me: "oh, i just kept letters and cards and stuff like that in it..."
kelli: "no! the candy, fool!"
(i made this box awhile ago that i kept old letters and pictures and stuff in and a woman in my ward wanted to use it for a display thing, and when she brought it back, she brought it back with a little box full of candy, hence kelli's urgency)

kelli: "when I first met Sean, I thought he was from somewhere else."
me: "yeah?"
kelli: "i was like... 'you're not... where are you from?' ..."
(bahahahahahaha)

me: "okay, here, get the teal. take it and walk away."
kelli: "no! i don't want that one! i want a new one!"
(she was trying to decide between 2 different colored cardigans when we were shopping, and I was getting impatient with her, so I handed her the cute teal one she had just tried on, but she insisted on a "new one" and proceeded to grab a freshly folded one from the stack.)

kayla: "you wanna hear the scariest thing that happened today at PetCo? A grasshopper. Jumped. INTO MY BOOT!"
kelli: "(laughing) Kayla, people can take their pets to PetCo!"
kayla: "this grasshopper had NO SUPERVISION!!!"

Garth: "you only get married once! Well, unless you muder her..."
(hahahaha uh... thanks, Garth.)

Kelli is the funniest person I know. Hands down. I love my sister! She's one of my very best friends. Kayla's almost as hilarious! And Garth... oooh, Garth!

more later

day 6: a person i would love to trade places with for a day.

had to put quite a bit of thought into this one... I'm completely content with my life, so honestly? I don't wanna trade!

I guess Jennifer Aniston's got it good. She's successful and pretty -- especially for being like 40... so sure. She's pretty funny too.

Same with Gwenyth Paltrow.
and Carrie Underwood.

I just don't know that I want to deal with the stress... or the schedule of a star...

how about someone who is very successful and inspiring, and does a lot of good for the world... but is also really awesome, and does really cool stuff all the time...

whoever that is. i would trade places with them.

i keep forgetting this is a PHOTO challenge. uuuggghhh

let's be honest here: is it really fair that they are THAT pretty? ...i don't think so! haha

oh well. today's been pretty eventful. lots of big stuff... more later on that ;)

i'm pretty happy these days... obviously! working, making plans, spending time with Dev... it's been great! i'm so excited for these next few months. fun stuff coming up!

reese's puffs is a perfectly substantial dinner

day 5: a picture of my favorite memory.
how about a couple? i've got time...

in 2007, my grandparents took all of us (extended family) to Disneyland for a couple days -- it was my very first time! my aunt had recently had foot surgery, so she had a handicapped pass -- we NEVER waited in line, and in the 2 or 3 days we were there, we rode TOWER OF TERROR I think 19 times... 19! It's my favorite ride IN THE WORLD. i love it. i would go back JUST to ride that ride. on the very back row you can see Kyle, me, Kayla, Mason and Jake.
horrible quality... but my Junior Year, I took Honors Geology with a bunch of friends, and we went on lots of field trips -- this is some of us at the coral something sand dunes or something? it was probably one of the funnest trips i ever went on, even though we were learning about ROCKS.
spent father's day 2009 ON THE TOP OF ANGEL'S LANDING. just me and my daddy. it was probably the funnest hike i've ever done, and i love my dad! happy father's day, eh?!
he was the cutest kitten -- he's stayed pretty small for a cat, but i miss him being this tiny! this picture is probably only a day or two after i got him -- he's awesome.
this picture is from the newspaper -- this is my senior project group, we did a big project with books... collecting and selling books to buy new books and donate them to the homeless shelter in salt lake... my senior english teacher changed my life and all the work and learning that went into these projects was truly amazing.
tim mcgraw concert. july 2010... need i say more?! this is him doing what we like to call "The Tim McGraw ButterChurn" he's definitely perfected the move...
not only did i see emerson drive IN CONCERT... but I MET THE BAND AFTER! including mike melancon, the drummer, who is my FAVORITE.
K.K.K. Extravagansa... the three of us went to Red Robin while we were in St. George, which is where the picture is from, but the whole trip was the fun part, I just wanted to show a picture with all of us! The funny part was... we left for St. George THE DAY AFTER my first date with Devin... I was texting him non-stop, and it totally made putting up with kylee and kevin's flirting and humor worth it! haha just kidding, they were fun, but really -- some of the conversations devin and i had in while I was in SG will never be forgotten!!!

seeing Greg Laswell in concert with Dev... and discovering Harper Blynn!!! monumental night.
every single minute spent with this guy -- i LOVE IT! so many great memories, in only 4 months! it seems like it's been much, much longer!

TODAY... I woke up kind of early for a change, and watched the Bachelor, then Kylee came over and we did lots of window shopping to kill some time, and did lots of embarrassing ourselves around various stores... then I went to work, which was sort of a bummer, but also fun...

and then went to Devin's.
and vented a little, to a very understanding and empathetic boyfriend.
and watched Pawn Stars.
and had some cereal. mmm!

another good night :)

p.s. in case you were wondering.. PocketBacs and Pocket Bac-In-A-Snap holders are the new CRAZE. a little boy, maybe 12 or 13 came into the store tonight with his Dad asking for one and said "everyone at school has them..." he just wanted to fit in -- first, how cute is that?! haha he was adorable and second... WHA?!?!?! BBW is now rollin' with the cool kids. yeah, that's right, carrying hand sanitizer in the rubber case is the cool thing to do now... you better come and get one before they stop letting you sit at their lunch table...

Monday, February 21, 2011

i wouldn't mind more days like this

day 4: a picture of my night.

Well... I didn't take any pictures of my night... but it looked like this:

visiting Garth, who is awesome, and helping Dev pick out a really nice new suit, that looks really good on him!

going to Sammy's for some dinner, and running into PETE!  -- sweet potato fries are delicious.

driving in Max to Lowe's... spending a large amount of time looking at and comparing paint samples.

then spending a large amount of time in the large appliance section looking at fridges and washer/dryers... for fun. hahaha we're kinda funny sometimes...

then going to my house to say goodbye to my sister

then going to devin's, and spent the night on Illistrator, and realizing what a great team we are, and designing awesome stuff.

getting tired of the internet being slow

and ended the night practically dead from devin's constant tickling! it would be ridiculous if it weren't so hilarious!

he's my best friend :)

SSSOOOO it was a pretty great night :) i love that guy -- he's so much fun to spend time with. i'm so lucky to be with him every day, and to have him in my life! he makes me the happiest i've ever been!

TODAY... Kelli came down from Logan!!!! I was so excited that she was coming! When she got here, we went to Bajio with Kayla and picked up some food to take to Mom's work, and ate with her in the breakroom! Then Kelli and I went shopping, and got some ice cream and a redbox and went home to watch it -- ended up joking and talking instead, haha

I love my sister SO much. She is definitely one of my very best friends, and I couldn't ask for a better sister. She is so strong, and such a good example to me. She is successful and beautiful and hilarious and smart and gives me great advice! She's a huge support system and I'm so lucky to have her as my older sister! LOVE YOU CHEECH!

double dream hands

so i missed yesterday, day 2: but that's because i was at the BRIDAL FAIR all day! Devin picked me up at 8a.m. and we made sure everything was ready, and the show started at 10.

From then until 5, it was 7 hours straight of talking with brides. All of them. They were all very different: the really upfront ones, that knew exactly what they wanted, the confused, overwhelmed girls that looked like they could burst into tears any second because of all the things they realized they needed to plan, the ones who were silent and let their moms do all the talking, the ones dragging their poor fiances around a bridal fair... and then the fiances that were strangely excited to be there. Old brides, young brides, girls that aren't even engaged... it was quite an array.

Devin was incredible! He works so well with people, and it was obvious that everyone we talked to really liked his work, and was impressed with his proffesionalism.

Chloe and I felt a little out of our league, because we couldn't fully answer people's questions, and mostly felt in the way -- haha but it was still so fun! We got the hang of it after awhile, I think, and it was pretty smooth sailing for the rest of the day!

Chloe left a couple hours before it was over to take care of her husband, Sean, who just got a liver biopsy -- poor guy!

Once it hit 5:00... Devin and I were taking that booth down SO fast. His dad came with his truck to load up the big stuff, and we were pulling out of the parking lot at 5:20! wow.

what a day!

went to Devin's after, and he slept while I watched "just married" haha -- then I went to Kylee's and we got some food and watched Moulin Rogue, which I LOVE. I forget how much I love that movie, which is sad, because it's incredible.

i was pretty much totallly asleep before it ended, but TWO PUNCHES LATER (thanks, ky) i was pretty awake, but we went and got a soda just to make sure, becuase kylee had more plans.

After that, we did this exfoliating face thing with honey and raw sugar... my face has never felt so smooth and clean! haha apparently, the sugar sucks out all the bacteria, and exfoliates the skin... it was awesome.

I was EXHAUSTED. but then we watched GHOST and i couldn't fall asleep during that! Demi Whoopi and Patrick?!?! It was awesome. SO much an 80's movie -- loved it.

THEN we went to sleep. Finally.

soooo dAY 2:

a picture of the person i've been closest with the longest (or something like that):

i feel like family is excluded, because that's pretty obvious, so here:

this is Mitch, well, Elder Murphy right now -- serving in Mexico. We grew up in the same ward, and I was the only girl my age, so it was always me and 7 boys -- it was horrible! haha just kidding, they were nice to me for the most part. Mitch and I have been friends for longer than I can remember!

He is a really great guy, one of the funniest I know, and he's dating the sweetest girl, Ashley! (totally approved.) So proud of him for going on a mission -- he is doing so great, too! I wouldn't say Mitch and I are particularly close -- we have been before, but we're not really best friends.... but thats not what this asked for! He's definitely the person I've been closest with the longest.

Runner up, though is the one and only VALERI WINN JONES!

val and i have been best friends since a few weeks before 10th grade. i met her through some other friends at a scrimmage football game, and the first thing she said to me was "Do you want to hear a really great song?" and i did. it was "every time it rains" by charlotte martin -- and we've been best friends ever since! i love this girl so much, and she will always be one of my very, very best friends. She is one of the most amazing people I have ever met -- I have so much respect for her. she is truly incredible!

so TODAY... i'm pretty much going to spend all day cooking -- having a big dinner tonight. My mom got recipes from Cafe Rio for their rice, pork, and dressing -- so it's been one of our favorite meals! Devin will be here, too!

other than that... nothing really going on haha

but DAY 3: a picture of the cast from my favorite tv show...

WELL. i don't know that i can pick a favorite tv show... but i watch THESE ONES a lot... and i think you already knew that:

how about a VIDEO of the cast from one of my favorite shows, Ellen! Oh, Andy and his SHORTS!

that's pretty much it, i think. this makes it look like i watch tv ALL the time.... which i don't, i promise. but if i could -- you know what i'd be watching!

fancy finds

call it a wish list
call it an addiction
call it what you want

but we all know katie has just discovered the wonderful world of online shopping -- and it could be dangerous.

here are just a few things i've found that i've fallen for!:

.would love to be the proud owner of this pretty dress, or this one, or this one
.need these.
.this is not only clever and cute... but looks very comfy!
.definitely want to custom order a necklace from here -- i want it to look like this (but it's too expensive!)
.starting to strongly consider getting one of these -- which will please D immensely.
.i couldn't pick just one thing from this site.. so here's my whole wishlist. love this jewelry.
.one of each, please
.this was probably made specifically for me.
.and oh how badly i want to own this!!! some day, it will happen!

Friday, February 18, 2011

now i just need to figure out what i'm gonna wear!

spent the morning at work with Sierra and Baylee -- hardly any customers, so we did a lot of what D likes to call "girl talk" -- it was so much fun! I love my job, and I love my co-workers!

Then Nicola came in and told me next time we work together, she wants me to run a segment, like a CSL and start working on my development toward being a manager-- i'm so excited! I have the most amazing boss ever. She is such an incredible person!

Came home and hung out with my sister for awhile, then took a nap.

After that, headed to Wagstaff's to meet Devin and load up the truck, and off to Provo High to set up his booth for the Bridal Fair!

1. the tableclothes, again, are perfect
2. the hardest part of setting up the booth was hanging the banner -- this was also the most unexpected difficulty
3. the booth looks AMAZING. Simple. Inviting. Sharp.
4. I AM SO EXCITED
5. Chloe is coming to help. Which makes me EVEN MORE excited
6. we walked around to see some of the other booths being set up -- some weird vendors there, I'll tell you... but all the other photography booths were honestly not as good... Too modern and catalog and posed... unnatural. Devin's style is SO much more realistic -- and affordable.
just sayin.

Had some dinner at McDonald's, talked with his mom for awhile, and called it a night!

last time: COME TO THE SHOW TOMORROW AT PROVO HIGH! 10-5! DEVIN'S BOOTH LOOKS SO GREAT. IT LOOKS LIKE ITS GOING TO BE A BLAST!!! http://www.capturedbydash.com/

Devin is my best friend. Tonight was sooooo much fun. Even though all we did was set up the booth and grab some food -- I loved it. I love how comfortable we are with each other, and the kind of chemistry we have. It's unlike anything I've ever felt!

We are absolutely hilarious, and he knows exactly what to say to make me laugh and smile. I am so lucky to have him in my life -- I couldn't ask for more! He is amazing. Love him!

ALSO

day 1: a picture of yourself with 15 facts

don't take lots of pictures of myself... so this is about as recent as it gets -- end of July 2010 at the Tim McGraw concert.

as for random facts... I feel like I've done this before on this blog... but okay:

1. i hate sheets. they are pointless, and they just get tangled up and annoy me. can't stand 'em.
2. i have never been on an airplane.
3. i'm sort of really a lyrics nazi. if you sing the words wrong... i will correct you. every time.
4. my favorite word is bureaucracy.
5. i have taught myself how to play Jon Schmidt piano solos -- but usually only play when i'm upset.
6. i sometimes want to start dancing again. 12 years i danced! 12!
7. i paint my nails at least once a week. (and am painting them right this very moment...)
8. i could eat grilled cheese sandwiches every day for the rest of my life, and be completely content.
9. I rip the fabric softener sheet in half when I do laundry.
10. my hands are probably most definitely softer than yours. my job exposes me to numerous exfolients, and deep moisturizing creams on a very regular basis.
11. I love grocery shopping, solely for the purpose of pushing the cart. espeicially while Dev is being all picky about his yogurt and bread (haha, love you!). Not a huge fan of pushing stollers, though. They are not nearly as manageable.
12. Also love unloading the grocery cart onto the belt at the cashier -- it's like tetris!
13. My parents almost named me Kamryn, which I would have loved, but I am named Kathryn after my Great Aunt Kathy, who is married to Elder D. Todd Christofferson, which is pretty cool.
14. I brush my teeth between 3 and 5 times every day. I just like having clean, smooth, white teeth, okay!?
15. ice cream always makes me thirsty. always.
