neglect

I feel like since I've [finally] started working again, our house has been the victim of some serious neglect.


Both Devin and I are neat, and we clean up after ourselves, but that doesn't stop the housework from piling up! All of the sudden, there's not enough time in the day to get the things done that need to be. 


I am CATCHING UP on laundry. I haven't had to do this for months! I've been quite on top of it! I finally unloaded the dishes, and shortly discovered what an unorganized mess the cupboards are... 


ugh. Multi-tasking is not one of my strong points.


At least I managed to get those things done, and make Devin the chocolate mousse he's been craving for days. Tonight we're off to find a ball for the truck hitch, and hopefully not much more. I'm so close to finishing The Help (another newly neglected corner of my life), and I hope tonight I can get in some good reading time while Devin edits photos and updates the website. 


Good news though? I have an awesome job. I am getting so attached to Carter and Aria. They are some of the cutest kids! Aria had to get 2 shots in each thigh today, but she was such a trooper, and was hardly fussy. She even napped for over 2 hours, and so did Carter! Love those cute kids! Also, their parents are wonderful people. I can't believe how fortunate I am to work with them!
