11 days until what I like to call "1 Year Anniversary Extravaganza"

that means... 9 days until we commence what I like to call "Anniversary Trip: Surprise Edition"

and only 8 days until we celebrate what I like to call "Is My Husband Really 25?"

just kidding. i'm not surprised. he's been telling people he's 25 since at least January. I almost always correct him, in order to make it a much bigger deal on his actual birthday.

i enjoy a good countdown, especially when lots of exciting things are going to happen all at once. like May, for instance. pretty much everything good happens in May:

devin's birthday

our anniversary

the weather heats up

school gets out (not so much a highlight anymore...)

snow cone stands open (eeeeh!!!)

camping become bearable

these are all starting to do with the weather... anyway. you get the message. by this time next week i'll.... well, nothing will have changed. this time next thursday, i'll be in some unknown destination with my sweet husband.
