this saturday, we headed down to Joe's Valley one more time before it got too cold. we went with our good friends, Kyle and Jamie again (sans their cute dogs :( oh well) and their good friend, Josh, who is also a photographer. Josh took photos the whole time and even got some of Devin - i'm excited to see how they turn out!
< joe's valley bound
> first stop: oreo donuts - the very best ever (not pictured: soft serve ice cream cone for breakfast)
< this moment had been a long time coming!
> a photo shoot in progress.
< fellow photographers
> the cutest thing i've ever seen
< he was such a good dog the whole trip!
> falling. but fashionably
< pardon my french... but, uh... badass.
> he's really strong
< sometimes maybe two different shoes will work better
> kyle chalking up mid-send.
< and sent.
> and again.
>< devin climbing
>< deving climbing/falling
< food ranch decor (that a legitimately considered stealing until i discovered it was screwed into the wall. boo)
> riverside
< gorgeous. but freezing.
nothing can really compare to watching my husband climb. he's so good at it. it's cool to see him get into his element and shut out everything else and just climb. he is so strong and so confident and it shows. i love watching it. i didn't climb at all this trip. i was on cooper patrol, and also under the influence of loritab, so i didn't think it would be a good idea, but that's the greatest part about climbing trips - you don't actually have to climb to have a good time. and even though it was only 20-30 degrees the whole day, we had so much fun and did a lot!
>< all blurry, but still cool.
< it doesn't really get much cuter with this guy. (just kidding)
>< i hope nobody's sick of cooper pictures yet. because he's pretty much my favorite subject.
< our little buddy all tuckered out
we hit up the food ranch (the sole grocery store in all of orangeville that houses the most delicious donuts, and also pretty decent lunch food) twice and spent 9 whole hours climbing up boulders. it was glorious. i'm loving Joe's Valley more and more, and i'm sure we'll be making many, many more trips down there.
