morning views

I sort of copied this idea from an awesome blog i follow that Dev introduced me to... I'm not nearly as creative and talented... but this morning, I was bored, spotted my camera on my bookshelf... and had at it. The result: some mumbo-jumbo that you probably don't care about.

My 11:00 a.m. breakfast: muddy buddies and pomegranate 7-up...

the gorgeous afghan Devin's mom made me for Christmas

A lady Dev works with made both of us bracelets (the beaded one on the left)... mine's a little big, so I have to wear something else with it, haha

new year's resolution: learn this song. flawlessly.

the beginning of my collection

grandma cobbley made the quilt and afghan, the teacup is from her, too.

my favorite view :)

So, I got to go to church yesterday! I missed last week, because of work (semi-annual going on now at BBW... definitely worth checking out) and I noticed how off my week was! I hated that I didn't start my week out with the spirit, so I was definitely excited to go yesterday. Even though Kylee and I only went to sacrament, and 3 minutes of sunday school (a lot of people showed up that we were trying to avoid)... it made a world of difference. Fast and Testimony meeting was great. The same people speak every time, but I still felt the spirit and felt much, much better! I am totally ready for this week now!

Devin and I went climbing again, of course, but this time he decided it was time I top-rope climb. So I got belay certified. Which was easy, and fun. I like learning new things, like tying figure 8 knots, and learning how to use a gri gri! I only climbed 5.6's, and it was challenging! I am definitely looking forward to working my way up the scale, and being where Devin is... flashing 5.12b's after 9 months of not climbing! It is the most challenging, yet rewarding thing I have ever done. I feel like I always want to climb! I love it so much already.
