he spent the morning down at utah lake photographing an adventure race for Karmabe Photography (he's on their photo team).
I spent the morning watching The Best of Will Ferrell on SNL, and making the cookies i posted about earlier this week, Chocolate Peanut Butter Surprise Cookies!
Dev was the taste tester and he kept saying how good it smelled while they baked, and when he tasted them, he loved them! so it's another success. I'll be taking some to girl's night tonight, which is my only other activity today.
Devin has a tee time with his brother this afternoon so while he's gone I plan on folding laundry, making a trip to the grocery store, and I will probably end up baking more.
My mother-in-law asked if I would make all the cupcakes for my niece's birthday party tomorrow. Is it weird that I feel almost honored?! So i've got some cool plans. I wanted to wait until tomorrow morning to make them so they would be really fresh, but I might just end up making them tonight and putting them in a container. We'll see how desperate I get.
Dev won't be home until around 6 most likely, and then at 8 I'm heading to Amanda's for girl's night. I'm so excited, but this is also the first time I've had plans that didn't involve Devin since we've been married! So I will probably miss him, but I know I'll have fun.
One more thing: I promise I'll post a picture of my haircut a little later today. I just have to actually get ready first. I promiiiiise.
