yeah. for real.
and i am so excited. i feel like this is a very attainable goal for us... but also one of the once-in-a-lifetime things that hardly anyone has the chance to experience. it will be so amazing!!!
Peru is absolutely beautiful, and I can't wait to go. Machu Picchu is a "lost" Incan City-- can't wait to learn more.
Ever since Devin told me he wanted us to do this, I've been doing lots of research! Mostly on the actual trek itself, but learning lots of history too. I hope that we'll start in Cusco, and hike 5 days to Machu Picchu.
Machu Picchu is one of the world's most important archaeological sites, and also, the only remains of the ancient Inca's. The civilization was built in the 1400's!

Believed to be built as an estate for the Inca Emperor in the height of the Inca Empire
