these are Devin's nieces and nephew: Makayla, Kaden and Addison. I cannot even BEGIN to tell you how much I love these little ones! They are such a blast. All of them have the most adorable and unique personalities. I love being around them, and I love how often I get to see them! I love that their amazing mother Amanda, Devin's sister, lets me help her out with them every once in awhile! These 3 have definitely brightened my life! This goes for the entire Ashby family! Gaylon, Vicki, Amanda, Jason, Makayla, Kaden, Addison, Brandon, Riley, Koda, Sean, Chloe, Moses, Grandpa Willis, Virginia Rae, Nana, Grandpa -- all of them! I love them all so much!

dev and i went decided to go to his ward together today, so when we showed up at 9:30, we realized it was Stake Conference, and were half an hour early! We stayed for about an hour, and then left to go to my ward -- I hadn't been in maybe 6 weeks because i had either been sick, at devins ward, or at work, so I felt like I needed to go. Devin's stake pres, Pres. Norby gave an excellent talk, and the testimonies in my ward's fast and testimony meetings were... interesting, as usual. After that, we had our first meeting with the bishop (devin's bishop) -- and it went well! I am excited to start taking a Temple Prep class together, and work on the spiritual and gospel-related aspect of our relationship. Bishop Barrientos gave us so much good advice on how to incorporate it into our lives, and I can't wait to do so!
After that, we headed to his parent's, and did some research online to find a wedding ring Devin liked, and we found a bunch that he liked, all very affordable.
Once Sean and Chloe showed up, we all headed up to Francis, where Devin's brother, Brandon lives. He had put together this amazing dinner for all of us: pulled pork, chicken, ribs, salad, biscuits... the works! it was a full on BBQ! Brandon works at a private Deer Valley restaurant as a chef. He told us making BBQ was a break from all the fine dining entrees he makes for work everyday. "I'm so sick of making caviar!" haha it was absolutely delicious! Nana and Grandpa even made it up, and Nana brought her famous brownies-- ask any Ashby. They literally are THE BEST brownies. Ever.
It was so much fun to have everyone together! Sean and Chloe got back from their cruise just in time, and even brought Moses up, and everyone else made it up, too! It was a full house, but one of the funnest nights! Addi LOVES all the dogs (brandon has 2 + mosey) and she was being so hilarious all night, entertaining us all -- everything from fake-coughing to pretending to drink a can of Dr. Pepper and refusing to let anyone take it away from her! Brandon and Kayla played chess, Kaden played the keyboard, and even did some breakdancing... haha it was so much fun! I love the Ashby's and I am so, SO excited to have them as my family!
