i woke up, and had a long talk with my mom, about the wedding, of course. and it wasn't until much later did we realize she had left a boiling kettle on the stove -- yes. the porcelin melted onto the stove coil... it was a mess. so i promptly added "teapot" to her grocery list.
then... Dev came and got me. we went to his parent's to get his FILM for his POLAROID camera. it's like a 350 land... something (correct me if i'm wrong, D) -- so we loaded it and tried our best to take some pictures, and learned that the self-timer does not, in fact, work. at all. unfortunately.
then we went to pick up his SUIT for our WEDDING (eeee!!!) -- it's PERFECT. and Garth even threw in an awesome tie for 1/2 price. (PLUG IN: TOTALLY RECOMMEND "PERFECTLY SUITED BY GARTH" IN PROVO. He is quite literally the best in the business!)
then, we went to COSTA VITA... got a yummy pork salad, and ate while we watched the cougs SHUT DOWN (well, not really, but we WON! and that's what's important) Wyoming.
then i went to work.
and had lots of interesting conversations. the main thing i learned: as soon as you get engaged, everyone feels obligated to give you advice. ALL KINDS of advice. it was very unexpected... but mostly appreciated, haha
THEN after work, devin and i tried to go BOWLING with our good friends, JOSH AND AMY... but didn't want to wait until 11:30 p.m. to start, so we went to BASKIN ROBINS instead -- devin and josh ordered the same thing. so did amy and i.
then we went to their apartment, and sat on their NEW COUCHES and played BANANAGRAMS until about midnight.
